Worst Episode Ever

Last night's episode of South Park was by far the worst episode the show has ever aired. Needless to say, I was on the internet within hours registering my disgust throughout the world (which is now).

Proof that none of my humor is original.
Honestly, were they trying to be funny making a show about hiv-tag? Kids tried it and it turned out to be an absolute mess. In fact, if it had been a parody of Kids that might actually have been pretty good. Instead, I felt that the only satisfying ending would have been if Kyle shot Cartman to death and the producers promised he would never return. I've been a loyal fan for the past twelve years. I've argued that the show is better now than it's ever been.

But there's only so low you can go before you hit the bottom. Last night was it. Being the one show on television that "goes there," I'm sure it must be frustrating for the writers when crap like this somehow gets through. Cartman and Kyle even state explicitly how unfunny it is, as though Stone and Parker were aware that what they had was utter crap. People have been clamoring how badly The Simpsons has aged and while I will admit I think it's past its prime, I've never sat through an entire episode where I didn't laugh once. The same used to be true for South Park. Alright Mr. Stone, Mr. Parker. The next one better be good.
